“Blinded by the Dust”
Blinded by the Dust
Daily commutes have turned into navigating through a sandstorm in the heart of the city where dust clouds from the dusty, dirty roads cover everything in sight cars, clothing, and, unfortunately, people’s lungs. For those who travel by motorcycle and walk along the streets, the routine daily commute has turned into a dangerous activity that involves instant irritation of eyes, burning in the throat, and coughing because of the polluted air.
Every day, people who live in this city are forced to breathe in dusty air while commuting to their workplaces or schools.
Masks do not provide sufficient protection against this polluted atmosphere. While focusing on developing the city, the health of the inhabitants has been forgotten amidst the dust.
Breathing in the clear air is no luxury, but a necessity.
