In the act of making the environment around us more clean, we are keeping our health at great risk.

Clean outside, Smoke Inside

Mainly in the Terai region of Nepal, during the summers there are high risks of reptiles like snakes, lizards etc.

To prevent this people try to keep the environment as clean and open as they can.

They don’t want bushes around their houses and clear the grown weeds by burning them.

What they do not realise is, while keeping our surroundings clean they are risking their health.

It is more dangerous to children and elder people because children and elders have the liberty to prevent themselves from pollution in roads, industries and workplaces but they cannot prevent themselves from something that is just happening ahead of their doorsteps.
