Cleaning What We Throw
On my way to college, I looked at the Hanumante River and saw a man wearing a mask while collecting garbage from the foul smelling water.
I could not stop looking. He did not have the option of avoiding the polluted river because it was his job.
But we have a choice.
We can choose not to throw waste into rivers. People like him work every day to make our environment cleaner.
The least we can do is stop making their work harder by polluting the places we all depend on.
