Daily Dose of Dust
For many people, dust is something they encounter occasionally.
For me, it is part of everyday life.
The road in this photograph is right in front of my house, and because it remains under construction, each passing vehicle sends a cloud of dust into the air.
It settles on our windows, our surroundings, and often follows us indoors. What might seem like a normal neighborhood road reflects a larger air pollution issue that many communities face.
The dust may disappear after a few moments, but its impact lingers much longer.
Living beside this road has made me realize how closely our daily environment affects the air we breathe.
This image captures a reality that residents of my locality experience every day.
It stands as a reminder that development should not come at the cost of clean air.
