“Waste is sent to landfill and burnt to make space to throw waste in the same spot”
Dumping site
I was walking in the Siddhartha highway after finishing my morning class in college.
I saw dense black smoke coming from the another side of the highway.
As I am concerned about the environment, I wanted to know the cause of the smoke.
I told my brother to go there together and find the cause.
We went there what we saw was the landfill burned by the authority to make space to throw more garbage.
Around 26 ton of the garbage is collected everyday and it is transferred to the landfill.
To make space for trash they just burn the waste not caring about the environment, air, soil , human lives and animals along with birds.
