Fresh Juice, Toxic Air
I have been selling sugarcane juice in the gate of Gautam Buddha International Airport for around 15 years.
While people are drinking fresh sugarcane juice,I am compelled to inhale the air filled with dust, smoke and toxicity produced by the roadside vehicles and the diesel engine I use to extract the juice.
I cannot manage to afford an electric juicer as the earning from selling juice is just enough for me to manage household expenses.
The first 8 years were much worse as the road was not black topped and I needed to stand around 10 hours a day on a dusty road.
Due to this, I have been dealing with eye infection almost once a week and skin irritation as well.
