Good food should not come at the cost of clean air.

Patan, Lalitpur, Kathmandu ValleyJul 2026

More than just a Grill

The smell of grilled food often brings people together, but the smoke it creates tells another story.

While a barbecue is an occasional celebration for many, repeated exposure to smoke from charcoal or wood fires can affect the air we all breathe.

Fine particles released into the air can irritate the eyes, trigger coughing, and, over time, contribute to respiratory and heart problems, especially for children, older adults, and people with asthma. Small changes, like using cleaner fuels, improving ventilation, or being mindful of where smoke travels, can help protect the health of everyone nearby.

Good food should create memories, not breathing problems.

Every breath matters.
