“The Rain could not resist the Haze at the Horizon”
Persistent Smog
In the rising heat, rain feels like a blessing to humans.
While in growing air pollution, rain feels like a treatment for the mother nature.
Rain has just stopped at this moment.
A light rain provides deep relief while sun is striking and air is smoking.
The rain brought a different energy to the environment, birds were flying and singing with joy and humans were breathing fresh air.
The leafs are still holding the drop of rainfall.
The nature was vibrant and cherish, untill something unusually usual noticed.
Generally, the rain reduce the air pollution.
Rain almost clean the air by demolishing the pollutant particles from the air and provides beautiful sky, vibrant nature and fresh air.
But this time, there was a change in story.
The rain came and gone but the smog thrives strongly.
It is unusual and rare.
The pollutants may cause acid rain or muddy rain and clean the air.
This time the smog denied to follow the law of nature and defeated rain.
The horizon was still covered by the haze despite the effort from rain to unveil it. The smog accumulated multifaceted source to create such powerful layer around earth, which Tony Stark dreamt of.
Dust, Agricultural Burns, Industrial Emission, Vehicles Emissions and other created a strong shield than that of Captain America.
The mountains once used to be visible now has turned into invisible layer of haze.
The trees of that mountain once used to seem green, now seem gray.
Even after the rain, nothing changed.
This year it was a tough competition between rain and haze.
The construction of Butwal-Garusinghe Road boosted the dust more than ever while pre monsoon strike with more than usual rain.
It was a tough fight but the Haze defeated the Rain this time.
As clearly visible on the picture that even after the rainfall the haze is still thriving at the horizon.
The low visibility tells the story of battle of Rain and Haze, where haze thrives and nature as a whole lost.
